Tyre Manufacturing Date Checker

Look for the DOT code on your tyre's sidewall (usually on the inner side)

Enter the last 4 digits of your DOT code (the date code):

0-3 Years: Good

3-4 Years: Check

4+ Years: Replace

(35000 km for a Tyre after that it is risk to drive with the same tyres)

How to find your tyre's manufacturing date:

Locate the DOT code on your tyre's sidewall (may be on the inner side)
Look for a code that starts with "DOT" followed by 10-12 characters
The last 4 digits represent the manufacturing date (week and year)
For example: "2319" means the tyre was manufactured in the 23rd week of 2019

Note: Tyres manufactured before 2000 use a 3-digit code.

1. Should I rotate my tyres?

Yes, regular tyre rotation promotes more uniform wear, extending tyre life. For all-season tyres, a "modified X" pattern is recommended:

Drive axle tyres are crossed to the opposite side
Non-drive axle tyres move straight to the drive axle (same side)

It's best to rotate tyres every 8,000 to 12,000 km (5,000 to 7,500 miles), or as recommended in your vehicle's manual. Regular rotation helps prevent:
